去年差不多这个时候版上给的long term pick, 如果你还拿着， 恭喜了， up about
38%, easily beat spy by almost 2/3, even tho spy (24%)had a super bull year
。 It ranks #3 among DOW30 stocks at 1yr performance, behind INTC/MSFT(49%),
(The later i also recommended on the board in Jan14 around 36). but lagging
the dow drop out turn around play HPQ (76%) (i'm also said long repeatedly)
by a wide margin. :-) For comparison, my 8 super bull picks each had their
moment in the glory, however, on a yearly, non-operative base, only return
about 14%. and the 8 fat guys in Rim's eyes. are really zombies, getting
thinner by the day:-) down 24%! So, to sum it up, the story is, first, don't
aim too high. BEATING SPY ON A PORTFOLIO BASE IS NOT EASY! second, trade
the loser from time to time is ok, trade the high flyers also for that
matter, but can't hold them blindly. you can play with a ONS, or a
supermodel, but marry a next door neighbor.
I don't think DIS will go piaji right away, but it starts to lag, and
better alternative within dow 30 is emerging. so I'm closing my
recommendation. Good luck with your future trading.
