每天盼绿，今天收到议员帮忙查询的回复，彻底不用盼了。。。
一般background check要多久，大家有经验么？

From a review of USCIS records, we understand that your constituents’
permanent residency cases recently received an initial examination by an
adjudicating officer at the Nebraska Service Center (NSC).  However, a
background check process was subsequently initiated in these cases; and it
is not yet complete. 



USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in a timely manner
while also ensuring public safety and national security.  A small percentage
of applications and petitions have unresolved background check issues that
can delay adjudication.  Although USCIS makes every effort to resolve such
cases promptly, we are unable to speculate when the background check process
will be completed in the Form I-485 cases of ***. 



If a background check reveals an issue that may impact eligibility for a
requested immigration benefit, further inquiry is needed.  The inquiry may
include an interview and/or contact with another agency or USCIS office for
updates or more comprehensive information.  Upon gathering and assessing all
available information, USCIS will adjudicate the application or petition as
quickly as possible. 



While we are unable to determine a date on which USCIS decisions will be
issued in your constituents’ permanent residency cases, you may send us
another inquiry regarding these cases if *** have not received USCIS
decision notices or other notices of actions pertaining to their Forms I-485
within the next 60 days from the date of this E-mail message.
