大家有一个误解以为JERRY BROWN是反对SB185的，因为他否决了SB185。其实JERRY
BROWN在他的申明中说的很清楚，他赞同SB185，他否决的原因是因为做为宪法的
PROP209的存在，使得加州如果通过SB185，会导致巨大的法律诉讼，所以他不得不VETO

Though Brown said that he agrees with the purpose of the bill, he believes
the courts should determine the limits of the proposition, according to a
veto message he sent Saturday to the members of the California State Senate.
“Signing this bill is unlikely to impact how Proposition 209 is ultimately
interpreted by the courts; it will just encourage the 209 advocates to file
more costly and confusing lawsuits,” he wrote in the message.
A court case is currently pending in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals
against the state and the UC system on the same issues that the bill
addresses, the message states.
“I’m not surprised that Gov. Brown agrees with the spirit of the bill,
because there are many people who agree with affirmative action in the state
of California,” said Grace Meador, communications director for the
Berkeley College Republicans. “But he did the right thing, because the bill
is unconstitutional, and the people of California have already spoken on
the issue of affirmative action.”
这个SB185和SCA5一样，是同一个发起人HERNANDEZ。毫无疑问，正是JERRY BROWN使
HERNANDEZ明白，他必须先修宪，再平权。所以在2012年民主党赢得SUPER MAJORITY (
参，众两院均>2/3席位）后，修宪成为可能（任何加税，修宪的动议要求2/3通过），
HERNANDEZ和民主党抓住机会，企图在参，众院撇开共和党，强行通过修宪动议SCA5。
SCA5的根源在于民主党的SUPER MAJORITY。我们在这次选举的任务，就是打破民主党这
种独裁的局面，这样SCA5才不会回来。我同意我们可以倾听所有候选人的意见，但是
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION对于民主党，就如台独之于民进党。沁入骨髓，立党之本。不
管民主党候选人说的如何动听，我不会放心。而且加州民主党长期独大，腐败重生，连
着三个参议员犯法落网。我在这次选举中，坚定投共和党。
